Survey: What should carmakers prioritise in case of a no-deal-Brexit?
11 October 2019
The UK is currently facing the prospect of a no-deal Brexit, which many carmakers have tried to warn against in the last few months.
In order to ensure they are ready, some manufacturers are moving production out of the UK, while others are stockpiling both parts and vehicles to avoid potential tariffs being imposed, thereby increasing prices.
Autovista Group is asking what carmakers should look to prioritise in case no-deal occurs. Should they be focused on raising further awareness of the industry’s plight, or is it time to stockpile, increase production or plan to move away from the country?
