Autovista Group Survey: Would you trust an autonomous car?
23 March 2018
Vehicle manufacturers are increasingly financing autonomous vehicle projects, which they believe to be the future of mobility. Trends suggest that consumers will start to move away from traditional car ownership, instead relying on car-share schemes, a market which driverless technology would be perfect for.
However, recent events in the US have led to questions about the safety of autonomous vehicles on public roads. While some carmakers are pushing ahead with their trials, others are stepping back, or testing only on closed tracks. In the first of a series of survey pieces, Autovista Group is asking whether you would feel safe giving a vehicle control while you are a passenger. Your responses to our weekly questions will form the basis of an article discussing some of the hottest topics in the automotive industry.
