Sales Manager Australia

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Summary of role:

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager (Australia) to develop and manage sales and marketing objectives for Glass's Information Services on a national level. The new person will drive new business sales in high potential accounts across Australia within current and potential markets in line with financial targets. Furthermore, the person will manage the internal sales, marketing, customer experience and consultancy service. This role will sit within the Management team and will have people management responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Set and Manage Sales objectives for commission representatives
  • Manage existing Annual Contract Values (ACV) on a national level
  • Drive New Business Sales to grow the business and achieve financial targets
  • Promote and actively sell all company products
  • Visit key accounts within all markets on a national level
  • Set up and manage strategic alliances
  • Build strong relationships within key target markets and all relevant industry bodies
  • Report monthly on all Sales activity and performance

Products

  • Identify new product potential for continued growth

Training

  • Train all staff on new products, sales skills and marketing objectives

Market

  • Be aware of competitor movements and general state of the market
  • Be able to represent and promote the company at industry events
  • Attend scheduled conventions

Marketing

  • Manage marketing related activities nationally
  • Liase with Group Marketing for support

People Management Responsibilities

  • Lead, support and develop own team to reach their potential

 

Experience, skills and abilities:

  • Proven ability to win new business and build existing business
  • Experience in Automotive and/or selling digital products preferable
  • Ability to write an annual market/sales plan
  • Ability to learn new marketing and selling skills
  • Well organized, responsible and target oriented, reliable 
  • Effective team leader, trainer and coach
  • To improve processes and procedures
