Manager, Analysis and Reporting

In this role you will work closely with the Director, Strategic Commercial Analysis identifying solutions to our customer and product reporting requirements and identifying new ways of analysing our existing data, delivering new insight in areas such as price leverage, customer retention and industry sector.



Monthly reporting cycle:

  • Customer opportunity reporting, using extracts from to analyse trends in price and retention
  • Assist in the creation of subscription data sets, working alongside the Senior KPI Analyst where necessary to help meet monthly deadlines and
  • Review output from the subscription KPIs, query trends and write commentary 

Develop and maintain new reports from local and central systems:

  • Analyse subscription application volume versus price paid and list price reports using various local reporting tools.  Identifying the distribution of price versus volume and determining the price versus volume mix on average yield
  • Analyse reports that compare the number of registered users of each application versus the number of users they have paid. Identifying customer’s opportunities to invoice customers for more licences and
  • Analysing transaction revenue and identifying a reliable way to report volume and price

Work with the new KPI visualisation and transformation tool to:

  • Review and refine customer segmentation classifications including industry sector and parent/child relationships
  • Identify product cross sell opportunities for group top 100 customers, across products and countries
  • Create an industry market model, to show Autovista’s penetration by sector and
  • Develop standard dashboards for review by our finance community (i.e. Finance Directors and other key stakeholders across the group), understanding their needs and making improvements or adjustments to meet their requirements

Ad hoc analysis:

  • Respond to business needs across the group with ad hoc analysis


Experience, skills and abilities:

  • Extensive experience in one or more analytical roles is essential, with exposure to product or channel reporting (advantageous)
  • Numeric degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
  • CIMA or equivalent qualification an advantage
  • Strong excel skills and a track record for learning new systems and tools, experience using Tableau or Microsoft BI an advantage
  • Attention to detail and a talent for problem solving
  • Commercial acumen
  • Ability to listen to stakeholder and business needs and act
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely 
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment
