Salesforce Effectiveness Manager (Trainer)

Summary of role:

The role of the Salesforce Effectiveness Manager is to be engrained in all of our commercial business processes and to train, support and report on, the way that the Sales and Customer Service functions use our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, Salesforce, and its supporting tools. The ultimate goal is to make selling easy and efficient for our sales teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own, design, support and maintain the Commercial chapters of the Autovista Way of Using Salesforce (AWUS) to support the Autovista Way of Selling (AWS)
  • Create an on-boarding Salesforce programme for new starters that includes formalised Salesforce training sessions
  • Create and launch a Salesforce training programme for all the key commercial roles across the business: New Business Telesales, Retention and Key Accounts, Field Sales, Sales Directors and Customer Service. Ensuring a blended learning approach that incorporates classroom and online training techniques
  • Create all training collateral including worksheets, training guides, cheat sheets and any other materials to ensure individuals have the ability to look up key processes and ‘how-to-guides’ outside of training
  • Create a team of internal commercial Salesforce Super Users who can provide local support in their regions
  • Monitor best practice is adhered to and report to management when and how to improve
  • Create and maintain the KPI-dashboard for the Sales organisation together with the Global Sales Director (GSD)
  • Ensure that all management reporting is run effectively and on time
  • Work with Business Systems and Sales Operations to ensure our CRM tools continually improve to provide optimum ways of working with our customers
  • Make recommendations where appropriate to drive change and improve commercial performance
  • Communicate successes and return on investment from activities performed to management
  • Evaluate commercial user capabilities to identify training needs and how to address them
  • Take ownership for building out the commercial teams’ area of Chassis for Salesforce best practice sharing together with the Head of Sales effectiveness. Pages will include a library of multi-media support materials for users
  • Ensure adequate notification of courses, attendance, follow up and evaluation
  • Maintain accurate records of all training and evaluations. And collect and interpret data to determine effectiveness of training

 

Experience, skills and abilities:

  • Solid experience in creating and delivering training both classroom & virtual, as well as training resources such as user guides & videos
  • Excellent understanding of CRM (preferably Salesforce) and analytical tools
  • Able to work with senior managers; influencing and advising on CRM development issues and provide support for change management.
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking – the ability to turn business objectives into clear user requirements
  • Commercial acumen
  • European language skills desirable (preferably German, French or Spanish)
  • Ability to travel within Europe as needed to work with local teams and to facilitate and deliver training
  • Well organised and a completer/finisher
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly personable with the ability to be direct and challenge diplomatically
  • Need to be comfortable giving regular feedback
